<p>PURPOSE:To provide the title equipment intended to miniaturizing the same as a whole through miniaturizing the direct current source, so designed that the upper part of the chamber is equipped with the upper electrodes for alternating voltage application, while the lower part thereof, the lower electrodes for d.c. voltage application with its vertical length shorter than that of the upper electrodes. CONSTITUTION:Firstly, a fluid containing cells 20 is put into the chamber body 1 followed by applying alternating voltage on the cells 20 being in sedimentation, through the upper electrodes 2, 3 set up on the upper part of the body 1 to bring the cells to an oriented state. Thence, when the cells 20 come to a space between the lower electrodes 12, 13 set up on the lower part of the body 1, a d.c. voltage is applied on said lower electrodes 12, 13 with its vertical length shorter than that of the upper electrodes 2, 3, thus ensuring cell fusion to be performed.</p> |
