PURPOSE:To provide a covered wire which has superior heat resistance and moisture resistance by painting by applying and baking, on the conductor, heat resisting paint that is made of polymetallocarboxyrane, silicon resin, inorganic filler, and glass frit having a specific softening point. CONSTITUTION:Polymetallocarboxyrane of bridging polymer whose number average molecular weight is 700 to 1000000 and in which a part of silicon atoms in its skeleton is bonded to titanium atoms or zirconium atoms through oxygen atoms can be obtained by means of allowing polycarboxyrane whose average molecular weight is 200 to 1000 and alkoxide of titanium or zirconium to react with each other. Heat resisting paint that is made of this polymetallocarboxyrane, silicone resin, inorganic filler, and glass frit whose softening point is 400 to 600 deg.C is applied and baked on a conductor so as to obtain a covered wire. Phosphate glass, borisilicide glass, or lead glass can be used as the material of the glass frit whose softening point is 400 to 600 deg.C. |
