Severing moving textile widths - with a cutter bar arrangement partic useful for sensitive material

Moving widths of textile material are severed by a cutter bar arrangement which can cross the path of moving material in a linear or circular manner. On the opposite side of the path to the cutter bar there are support rails in front of and behind the cutting line. These serve to establish the necessary tensile stress over a narrow and limited area of the material as required for good-quality cutting.
