Compounds of formula (I) wherein X is a phenyl group or a monocyclic 5 or 6 membered heteroaryl group, either of which group is optionally fused to a saturated or unsaturated 5-7 membered carbocyclic or heterocyclic ring; A is linking moiety; Z is C1-6 alkyl, C3-8 cycloalkyl, C3-8 cycloalkyl C1-4 alkyl, phenyl, naphthyl, phenyl C1-4 alkyl or naphthyl C1-4 alkyl wherein a phenyl or naphthyl moiety is optionally substituted by one or more of halo, C1-6 alkoxy or C1-6 alkyl; R is hydrogen or methyl having 5-HT3 receptor antagonist activity.
