Portable support with easily programmable microcircuit and method of programming this microcircuit

摘要

To solve programming problems in chip cards (smart cards), the microcircuit contained in these cards is furnished with a command interpreter program. Moreover, application programs are compiled in an intermediate language understandable to the command interpreter. It is shown that not only is memory space saved, but additionally, the task of the programmers is eased since they now need only program their applications in a high-level language which a priori was not suited to the programming of microprocessor cards. <IMAGE>
