PURPOSE:To offer an all-solid secondary battery having high capacity and a good charging-discharging cycle by using a complex oxide consisting of silver and a vanadium oxide and a compound containing halogen as an active material. CONSTITUTION:When P/2 moles of halogen molecules (X2) is added to one mole of a delta phase complex oxide consisting of silver and vanadium oxide expressed by AgXV2O5 to be reacted, reaction expressed by AgXV2O5+P/2 X2 AgX-PV2O5-PAgX is caused, a compound consisting of a complex oxide generated by this reaction and halogen is used as a positive electrode active electrode. Further, together with a complex oxide consisting of silver and a vanadium oxide expressed by AgXV2O5, halogen molecules (X2) also can be used as the electrode active material. With this constitution, a battery having high capacity can be obtained without injuring a charging-discharging cycle characteristic. |
