PURPOSE:To enhance the sealing properties of this developer replenishing container by providing projectingly a rib pressing a part in the vicinity of a shutter and the slit-like opening part of a sealing member when the shutter is closed. CONSTITUTION:The rib 5 provided projectingly on the bottom surface of the shutter 4 enters the opening part of the guiding member 3 to deform the guiding member 3, receives reaction force from the guiding member 3 and pushes up the shutter 4 and the sealing member 7, in a state where the shutter 4 is closed, that is, toner is not replenished yet. Thus, when the shutter 4 and the sealing member 7 are pushed up, the squeezing quantity of the sealing member 7 is increased. Even if internal pressure inside the container main body 2 is risen and an impact is given to it, a gap does not occur between the shutter 4 and the sealing member 7, but the leaking of the toner housed in the main body 2 to the outside of it is surely prevented. |
