The invention describes a machine for producing packages for milk and comprising a tube of coated paper with means of forming the tube and means of integrally moulding synthetic plastics material onto the tube and with, extending along the machining path, a conveyor belt supporting a row of cross-sectionally quadrangular transport containers, with means of introducing the tube into the relevant transport container and with means of removing the finished tube and carrying it away. To increase the output from the package producing machine so that in particular the injection moulding tools can be more rapidly opened and closed, it is according to the invention proposed that a first part of at least one strand of the endless revolving conveyor belt extend at a fixed angle ( alpha ) of preferably about 45 DEG to the second part of this strand and in that a side wall of a transport container be disposed parallel with the main plane of the flat conveyor belt and in that rails for guiding the conveyor belt be fixed lengthwise of its conveyance path.
