Mechanical brake for motor driven rotary shaft - has drive mechanism with drive pins fitting into holes in drive disc
摘要
The mechanical brake for a motor(4-)-driven rotary shaft (3) incorporates a drive mechanism (8) which moves and rotates between stops and which has eccentrically positioned drive pins (13). One side of the drive mechanism (8) is pressed by spring force onto a fixed brake-block (7). The drive pins (13) fit into a drive-disc (2) with holes (14) in and which is positioned on the shaft (3) so as not to move or turn. The drive pins (13) and disc (2) have a thread engaging with flanged pieces (15,16). A sleeve (1) is fixed over the shaft (3). USE/ADVANTAGE - The mechanically simple brake is more accessible at wear points and can be used for all purposes.
