PURPOSE:To quicken the pulse response and suppress the overcurrent loss to its lowest by constituting the rotor core having teeth elements, the small poles, with a compound of compressed compact whose main components are the metal magnetic powder and the electric insulating resin. CONSTITUTION:The stepping motor has a permanent magnet 1 and a rotor core 2 of the mixture of the compressed compact of which the main components are the metal magnetic powder and the electric insulating resin. Teeth elements, small poles, are formed to this rotor core 1. As metal powder, the pure iron powder, Fe-Si alloy powder represented by Fe-3% of Si alloy powder, Fe-Al alloy powder, Fe-Si-Al alloy powder, Fe-Ni alloy powder, Fe-Co alloy powder, etc. are used. As the electric insulating material, various kinds of resin are used, e.g. the epoxy resin, the polyamide resin, the polyimide resin, the polyester resin, etc.
