PURPOSE:To reduce vibration of a spacing driving motor when a carrier is moved from left to right and contrive prevention of lowering in the sharpness of printed images, by passing an electric current to both ends of a spring formed of a shape memory alloy to thereby move the spring in a contracting manner. CONSTITUTION:A spring 15 formed of a shape memory alloy is fitted between a spacing driving motor 8 fitted to a base frame 14 by a motor bracket 13 to which a vibration-insulating rubber 12 is fitted and one of side frames 4 for fixing a platen 7 and guide rails 5, 6 which one is nearer to the motor 8. When a carrier 1 is moved from left to right, an electric current is passed to both ends of the spring 15 to thereby move the spring 15 in a contracting manner, whereby it is possible to reduce vibration of the motor 8 when the carrier 1 is moved from left to right. Thus, vibration of the spacing driving motor 8 can be reduced, even when the rotating frequency of the motor 8 is increased, and the sharpness of printed images can be prevented from being lowered. |
