<p>A process for separation and removal of stable polycyclic aromatic dimer foulants from refinery process streams by blending a paraffin stream (10) with a portion of heavy effluent (11) from a hydrocracking reactor (48) to induce precipitation of foulant, which may then be separated and removed from the hydrocracker (48) to a storage or disposal location. Additional embodiments include introducing of flocculating agents and adjusting the temperature of the blend.</p> |
