PURPOSE:To obtain a digital protective control measuring instrument which can record arbitrary digital data in a device by allotting available area in a recording memory based on the number of data to be recorded and the recording memory capacity. CONSTITUTION:Features of the invention are implemented by programs stored in a ROM 10-3. In the operation, address and recording time information of data to be recorded is inputted on a keyboard E1 into a data collecting/ representing section 10. Consequently, number of data to be recorded is determined through single actuation of recording operation. Recording memory is then alootted according to the recordable times. In other words, recording memory area is ensured for the number of data to be recorded. In such a manner, recordable times are calculated automatically based on the number of data to be recorded and available area of the recording memory is allotted automatically and thereby the memory capacity can be fully utilized. |
