PURPOSE:To obtain the titled hybridoma useful as a regent for giving an index of the kinetic state of a pulmonary surface active substance, by fusing a myeloma cell to an antibody-producing cell separated from an animal immunized with a specific apoprotein. CONSTITUTION:An apoprotein constituting the human pulmonary surface active substance is separated and purified by removing lipids from a pulmonary surface active substance composed of about 90% lipid and about 10% protein and separated from the washed liquid of human lung and/or bronchus. An animal is immunized with the apoprotein, and an antibody-producing cell is collected from the spleen or lymph node of the animal. The cell is mixed with human or animal myeloma cell at a ratio of (10-1):(1-10) and fused with each other to obtain a hybridoma capable of producing a monoclonal antibody recognizing the apoprotein of the human pulmonary surface active substance having a molecular weight of 62,000 and/or 34,000-37,000 (e.g. mouse-mouse hybridoma producing IgG-type mouse monoclonal antibody).
|
