PURPOSE:To obtain bread crumb without impairing its inherent softness through such a process that bread is cut into pieces, hit on rotating bites and torn off and jumped back, and a series of these events are repeated. CONSTITUTION:Bread charged through a port 2 is cut into pieces with two cutters 3a, 3b each with a willow-shaped edge arranged in two tiers, and these pieces are torn off with four-direction-cross-arranged bites 4a, 4b and hit, taking advantage of the rotation, on a mesh 7 with uniformly distributed circular holes of a specified diameter on a thin plate followed by jumping back and then tearing off with the bites 4a, 4b; a series of these events are repeated, and only the resultant bread crumb of a specified size is slipped, through the circular holes, to the inner peripheral side of a working area 1a and recovered, thus obtaining the objective bread crumb. The body 1 of the equipment is constructed using a cylindrical material, being used in such a state as to be tilted at ca.45 deg. in the operation of a motor. |
