PURPOSE:To efficiently obtain the subject phosphoric acid useful for drugs, etc., without passing through complicated routes by reacting ascorbic acid with a phosphoric acid group donor in the presence of the bodies, etc., of a specific microorganism in an aqueous medium. CONSTITUTION:Ascorbic acid is reacted with a phosphoric acid group donor in the presence of the bodies of a microorganism belonging to the genus Escherichia and holding a recombinant DNA, a cultured solution containing the bodies or a processed product thereof in an aqueous medium, the recombinant DNA being recombined with a DNA fragment containing a gene coding an enzyme catalyzing the reaction of the ascorbic acid with the phosphoric acid donor to produce the ascorbic acid-2-phosphoric acid, followed by separating the resultant objective phosphoric acid from the reaction solution. The donor is preferably adenosine triphosphoric acid, etc., and the DNA fragment is preferably a DNA fragment originated from the genus Pseudomonas bacterium. |
