PURPOSE:To change a rotational frequency within a wide range by operating in-expansion magnetostrictive rod pressurization releases or in-contraction magnetostrictive rod pressurization releases to rotate an output rotation shaft. CONSTITUTION:Magnetostrictive rods 8 and 9 are expanded with pressurization of an output rotation shaft 7 by movable parts 16 and 17 released with pressurization releases 18 and 19. Thereby the movable parts 16 and 17 are moved without applying torque to the output rotation shaft 7. The magnetostrictive rods 8 and 9 are contracted with the pressurization releases 18 and 19 not operated and the movable parts 16 and 17 pressurizing the output rotation shaft 7. Thereby the movable parts 16 and 17 applies counterclockwise torque to the output rotation shaft 7 while returning to their original positions. |
