LINEAR GRAPHIC PLOTTING METHOD, DEVICE THEREFOR AND PLOTTING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To provide a general-purpose linear graphic plotting method and device which can plat a linear graphic of an optional two-dimensional pattern in a simple coperation. CONSTITUTION:The position information on the symbolic linear graphics of continuous two-dimensional patterns, the shape information and the connection of both information are stored and managed in a linear graphic table 23, a linear symbol table 22 and a line type control table 21 respectively. A linear graphic drawing control part 15 repetitively evolves the unit shape patterns stored in the table 22 in consideration of crooked points, etc., and based on a standard linear graphic (position information) that is defined on the table 23 in regard of its component point coordinates. Thus the part 15 produces the plotting data on the symbolic linear graphics. These plotting data are displayed via a CRT 4 and a printer 8. Furthermore the same unit shapes can be defined or corrected in bloc to plural standard lines through the table 21.
