PURPOSE:To keep a sanitarily stable and high humidity state by disposing a dispersion plate for discharging a mist from a humidifier, on the suction sides of two evaporators which are alternately operated for cooling and defrosting. CONSTITUTION:There are disposed in a cooling chamber 3 a first evaporator 20 and a second evaporator 21 via a partition plate 22, which are superimposed vertically and slanted downwardly toward a drainage port 15. Two sets of fan cases 23A, 23B, in each of which two fans 23, 23 are provided parallely, and disposed frontally of the evaporators 20, 21 facing the same. The evaporators 20, 21 are alternately operated such that while one of them is operated for cooling, the other is interrupted for defrosting. Further, particulate water produced in a container of an ultrasonic humidifier 35 is fed to its humidifying port 31 via a line 30, which humidifying port is coupled with a dispersion plate 32. Mist is discharged from the humidifying port 31, and filtrated through the dispersion plate 32 and further dispersed over the entire case. The mist is further fed to the first and second evaporators 20, 21 by the fans 23 for frosting on the evaporator in the cooling operation. Further, any dust and impurity are mechanically removed by the dispersion plate 32 and forced to flow out through the drainage 15. |
