In a front or end area of the fixed furniture frame (1), and in the direction of movement, is a guide (5) for the traction cable (3) on the movable component. The traction cable extends from the movable component in a direction corresp. approximately to that of outward movement of the movable component (2). The direction of the traction cable and its running direction on the guide are essentially the same. The traction cable is fixed on the movable component at a point in a starting position between the guide and the fixed furniture frame. By drawing the traction unit, its fixture point on the movable component is withdrawn from the fixed frame. USE - To effect a movement between a movable furniture component and one which is fixed.
