PURPOSE:To eliminate necessity of a movable cable for controlling actions of a robot and permit improvement of the reliability of a reproducing apparatus by giving control instructions, which controls the actions of a robot, from a control device to a robot through radio or optical communications. CONSTITUTION:Control instructions to a robot 13, which moves a cassette between a storage case 11 and a reproducing apparatus 12, are given from a control device 21 by radio communication. Thus, a movable cable, which connects the control device 21 to the robot 13 under a conventional system becomes unnecessary. Therefore, due to the fact that it becomes unnecessary to consider the life of the movable cable for the reliability of a reproducing apparatus with automatic cassette exchange function, the reliability of the reproducing apparatus with automatic cassette exchange function can be improved. Furthermore, control instructions to the control device of the robot 13 can be made not only by radio communications but by communication system not utilizing cables, i.e. by optical communication using laser beams. |
