PURPOSE:To make possible the easy setting of recording function for control systems by providing a switching device which switches recording function set by an operation device in accordance with a selected control system. CONSTITUTION:A switch for selecting between various control systems is provided at a switch input part 105, and its state is read by a main CPU 101 through a bus 114. Then a part suited to a control system supported by the switch is selected from the content which controls data on recording control actions stored in ROM 103, and then a recording and a control operation are performed. An interface switch 204 is a sliding switch for selection of a control system. The control system is turned to a PC state or a WP state at a position where a slide indication part 205 is present. In addition, an ON line/OFF line switch 201, a line feed/page feed switch 202, a sheet feed/sheet discharge switch 203, a size scale-down switch 214, a high speed switch 12, a density changeover switch 210 and a cleaning switch 209 are provided. |
