PURPOSE:To provide possibility of deelectrifying contacting parts directly and non-contact parts indirectly and also enhance the durability by using a conductive unwoven cloth layer in such a way lightly touching a charged object. CONSTITUTION:A conductive unwoven cloth 1 having naps 3 is wound on a conductive shaft 4 to form a conductive unwoven cloth layer, and therewith a deelectrifying roll 5 is constructed. Among static electricity lying on a charged object 6, the static electricity is the part touching this unwoven cloth 1 is released through the cloth 1. As for static elevtricity in the part not touching the charged object 6, on the other hand, lines of electric force are gathered in the spaces between the charged object 6 and the naps 3 on the cloth, as air exist there despite a very small amount, and an disequilibrium electric field is formed around there to produce dielectric breakage of the air, which generates corona discharge. Thus, deelectrification is made. With this unwoven cloth 1 having naps 3, the deelectrifying roll 5 shall be arranged in such a condition that only the facial part of the cloth 1 touches the object 6 lightly in the degree not generating distortion of the cloth 1. |
