MANUFACTURE OF PLATE FOR LEAD ACID STORAGE BATTERY

PURPOSE:To stabilize the weight of paste to be packed in a grid and reduce dispersion by giving fixed constant vibration acceleration with a vibrator in packing the paste in a grid body. CONSTITUTION:A vibrator is fitted to the side surface part of a paste packing device in manufacturing a plate for a lead acid storage battery, and a suitable vibration of 1G or less is added to the paste packing device in packing paste in a grid. This causes the well adaptation of the paste to stirring blades and rollers in a hopper to be uniformly pressed to a packing belt. Consequently a plate can be obtained which has the stable paste packing weight of a grid body and small dispersion.
