An adjustable grip handle for tools, sporting equipment, and the like is provided using a handle base (12), a handle augmenter (15), attachment provisions (13) to connect the handle augmenter to the handle base and retaining provisions (19) to retain the augmenter on the handle base. Handle grip size is adjusted by either selecting from an assortment of handle augmenters, or by positioning a common handle augmenter in one of several positions on the handle base, depending on the particular embodiment employed.
