PURPOSE:To improve preservation and stability of a colored picture by a method wherein a surface layer consisting of casein or casein and polyvinyl acetate is provided on a thermosensitive recording layer. CONSTITUTION:On a thermosensitive recording layer consisting of a colorless or light coloring dye ans a phenol compound, an organic acid or their salt, which color said coloring dye by heating on a support such as paper, plastic film or the like is coated water paint consisting mainly of casein or resin selected from casein, hydroxyl ethyl cellulose, hydroxy propyl cellulose, isobutylene-maleic anhydride copolymer, polyvinyl acetate, vinyl acetate acryl copolymer, vinyl acetate-acryl copolymer, modified polyacrylamide, polyviyl alcohol to provide a surface layer and prevent the colored picture from fading. |
