<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the number of times of access to a storage means and to shorten the scroll processing time by providing a buffer storage means and writing the display data while erasing the display data having the lower probability of redisplay. CONSTITUTION:The display data read out of a storage means 10 by an image processing means 12 are stored in a buffer storage means 18. Then these display data are read out of the means 18 and displayed by a display means 16 via a frame buffer storage means 14. When a display area is scrolled, such display data having the low probability of redisplay are erased out of the means 18 and the new display data is written into the means 18. Consequently, the display data having the high probability of redisplay are stored in the means 18. Thus the number of times of access is reduced to the means 18, therefore the scroll processing time is shortened. Thus, scrolling operation is carried out at a high speed.</p> |
