PURPOSE:To produce a colored particulate resin having a small particle diameter and a spherical form and improved in the dispersibility of a dye or carbon black in fewer steps by decomposing a starting material, mixing the decomposed material with a colorant in a gas phase and resynthesizing the material. CONSTITUTION:An excitation gas 8 is introduced into a vacuum chamber 1 through a gas inlet 7, and the gas discharge is controlled to keep the pressure in the chamber 1 constant. A high-frequency plasma is generated between a high-frequency electrode 4 directly connected to a high-frequency electric source 2 and a counter electrode 4' and, a starting material 5 is decomposed by the plasma of the excitation gas 8, mixed with a colorant 6, resynthesized and adhered to a substrate 9. |
