POWER STEERING AND LIMITED SLIP DIFFERENTIAL SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To enhance the steering response performance and disturbance response performance of a car so as to enhance the steering stability of the car by supplying and discharging working compressed air to/from a clutch control air cylinder according to slippage on one and/or both sides of rear wheels at low vehicle speed. CONSTITUTION:Steering forces of front wheels 121, 122 are generated by a main booster 14 and auxiliary steering forces by an auxiliary booster 15. Working pressure oil discharged from the main booster 14 to an oil reservoir is directionally controlled by a directional control valve 16 and also the pressure of the working pressure oil and that of compensating pressure oil are set by a pressure oil setting valve 17. The pressure of the compensating pressure oil is controlled by injection pressure control valves 18, 19 at the same time that the compensating pressure oil is injected into the reaction chamber of the directional control valve 16 and the auxiliary booster. Working compressed air is supplied and discharged to/from a clutch control air cylinder according to slippage on one and/or both sides of rear wheels at low vehicle speed and the air pressure is controlled by an air pressure control valve.
