<p>PURPOSE:To enable laminating with a gas-permeable sheet such as a woven or nonwoven fabric, by partitioning a chamber in two by a laminate sheet comprising a woven or nonwoven fabric and a gas-impermeable plastic film. CONSTITUTION:A woven or nonwoven fabric 11 and a plastic film 12 are laminated with each other through an adhesive layer. The plastic film 12, for bearing a gas pressure at the time of laminating, is impermeable to gases. A chamber is partitioned into an upper half and a lower half, for example, by fixing the laminate sheet 1 at the peripheral edge of the chamber so that the side of the woven fabric 11 is faced to a molded piece 2. The upper and lower chambers A and B are evacuated at the same rate by use of the same vacuum pump 5 and the same vacuum system. Concurrently, the laminate sheet 1 is heated by a heater 4 to soften the plastic film 12. Compressed air is fed into the upper chamber B, thereby forming the sheet 1 in conformity with a surface of the molded piece 2. Finally, the plastic film 12 is stripped off, leaving the woven fabric 11 in close contact with the contour of the surface of the molded piece 2.</p> |
