PURPOSE:To obtain high-density ceramic superconducting conductor without any defect such as cracks by coating metal on a raw material capable of becoming a ceramic superconducting conductor to form a complex and then applying necessary treatment to that complex. CONSTITUTION:A rod shaped complex 1 into a metal pipe is made by filling a raw material capable of becoming a superconducting conductor, and supplied to a press 3, consisting of an unicoiler 2. The rod shaped complex 1 is pressed by depressing jigs 5, 5', and compression processing is made under a specified pressure rate to form a complex wire material 4. Then the pressure jigs 5, 5' are moved up and down to release compression, and then the rod shape complex 1 is sent forward by an amount a little shorter than the surface length of the depressing jigs 5, 5'. The depressing jigs 5, 5' are pressed to make compression process, repeatedly to process a complexed wire material with specified dimensions, along the total length. Thus, high-density ceramic, superconducting conductor without any defect such as cracks can be manufactured. |
