PURPOSE:To obtain a color developing sheet for no-carbon required copying paper that produces a high-density color as required and has little coloring contamination when coloring is not required by a method wherein a color developing layer consists of two types of color developing layers. CONSTITUTION:A color developing layer in direct contact with a substrate is a color developing layer B, and a color developing layer in direct contact with the color developing layer B and out of contact with the substrate is a color developing layer A. The color developing layer A and the color developing layer B basically contain an electron-accepting organic color developer, an adhesive, and a pigment as main components, and it may contain a defoaming agent, a lubricant, a dispersing agent, a penetrant, a waterproofing agent, and the like, as required. When the content of the organic color developer in each of the color developing layers A and B is less than 10%, a remarkable effect cannot be obtained. For example, a color developer having little coloring contamination is used for the color developing layer A and a color developer having much coloring contamination and good coloring forming performance is used for the color developing layer B, whereby color forming performance and coloring contamination, that are opposite characteristics, are both improved. |
