<p>A hinge for a vehicle door, comprising a first part (1-3) intended to be fastened to the door (P), a second part (5-9) intended to be fastened to a vertical member (M) of the body of the vehicle in a position of adjustable longitudinal direction, and pivoting means (4, 17-18) provided between these two parts, and in which the second part of the hinge comprises a movable support part (10-15) for the pivoting means (17-18), which is arranged so as to allow a limited displacement of the pivoting means in a direction substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the second part (5-9) of the hinge and to the axis of rotation (17) of the pivoting means; the movability of this support part (10-15) is of a nature at least partially reversible in relation to the displacement of the door (P) executed by the assembly fittings; the pivoting means (4, 18) are of a type capable of oscillating; and blocking means (8, 21) are provided for reversibly immobilising the support part and the pivoting means in the configuration obtained. The movable support part for the pivoting means can consist of a sliding plate (15) having an inclined guide (13-14) or of an eccentric rod (27) forming part of the pivoting means. <IMAGE></p> |
