<p>PURPOSE:To avoid troublesome power supply operation before going to bed and prevent any trouble of a hotel employee in the power supply operation by a method wherein presence or absence of a guest on a bed and a light or a dark state of a guest room are detected to determine a condition of asleep of the guest and then the power supply for the main body of a refrigerator is automatically turned on or off. CONSTITUTION:A sensor box disposed at an upper part of the main body of a refrigerator is formed in such a way as it can be turned in a horizontal direction and its forward inclination angle can be adjusted. A pair of human body sensors 12 and 13 disposed at a front surface of the sensor box are made such that the human body sensor 12 approached to a bed is applied as a asleep person sensor and the human body sensor 13 spaced apart from it is applied as awaking human body sensor. The human body sensors 12 and 13 differentially output a voltage when the human body moves. An optical sensor 14 disposed at the front surface of the sensor box is made by a CdS photo-conductive element of which resistance value is varied by a radiation of light. A control device 15 constructed by an electric circuit or the like controls a power switch 9 in response to output signals of the human body sensors 12, 13 and the optical sensor 14.</p> |
