Multi-function tap assembly intended to constitute a straight-way tap or corner-way tap of the type composed of: - a main body (1) - an assembly (3) including the shutter (4) with its mechanical operating system (5 and 7) - an inlet connector (8) as well as an outlet connector (9) characterised in that the main body (1) consists of a standard bought-out tee the 3 branches of which are provided with identical connection means, for example provided with screw threads (2), and in that the tap furthermore includes multiple and interchangeable fluid inlet (8) and outlet (9) members which members are provided with connection means identical to those of the tee (1) which allows interchangeability between the inlet (8) and outlet (9) members as well as of the assembly including the shutter (3). Furthermore, an element is provided inside the body and is intended to create separation between the inlet (8) and the outlet (9) for the fluid in the case where the assembly is intended to constitute a straight-way tap. <IMAGE>
