Topical or transdermal patches comprise a backing layer, an adhesive layer and a release liner. The adhesive layer comprises 100 pts.wt. of a polyacrylate adhesive (I), 5-150 pts.wt. of a polyacrylate-compatible film former (II), 0.250 pts.wt. of non-plasticising active agents and/or additives, and 10-250 pts.wt. of plasticising active agents and/or additives.
