PURPOSE:To substantially prevent the attraction of a head by providing a protective film subjected to surface oxidation and a lubricating film constituted of a material having a polar group on the protective film. CONSTITUTION:The surface of the protective film 4 is oxidized and the lubricating film 6 having the polar group is provided thereon. The surface oxide layer 5 is formed by heat treating the surface of the C protective film 4 under environment of 60 deg.C and the relative humidity of 40%. If, however, the layer is too much oxidized, the characteristics of the surface oxide layer are degraded in some cases and, therefore, there is a need for adjusting the heating time, heating temp., humidity, etc. Since the polar group is formed on the surface of the protective film 4, the polar group bonds to the polar group of the lubricating film and the joint strength of the lubricating film 6 and the protective film 4 is intensified. The flocculation of the lubricating film between the head and the protective film 4 is obviated in this way and, therefore, the attraction to the head is substantially prevented. |
