PURPOSE:To quickly confirm a received data by providing a command means commanding monochroic print of a data and a control means controlling the received picture data so as to record the data with a monochroic ink jet head. CONSTITUTION:When a main CPU 101 detects a call signal sent from a sender side through an NCU 105, the incoming processing is implemented and the mode designation from the lender side is discriminated by using a mode discrimination means 62 and in the case of the color mode designation, the color reception mode is set, and in the case of the black/white reception mode designation, the black/white reception mode is set. In the case of the color reception mode, a color picture data received once is stored in a hard disk without expanding the data and whether or not a black print switch 64 is set is checked and when the switch is turned on, the printing is implemented in the black conversion mode from the color mode. Thus, a data monochroic print command means 64 and the control means 101 controlling the equipment for the monochroic recording in response to the signal from the command means 64 are provided, then the received data is quickly confirmed. |
