PURPOSE:To enable electronic parts to be fitted accurately to a wiring board by detecting a predetermined wiring pattern in vertical direction within a wiring pattern and that in horizontal direction, by calculating deviation in horizontal and vertical directions for a reference position of this detection data, and by compensating for positional relationship between the wiring pattern and the electronic parts relatively according to the calculated value. CONSTITUTION:A wiring pattern 12 is printed in a predetermined accurate position on a wiring board 11. For wiring patterns 13 and 14 which are part of it, an image-pickup area A in horizontal direction and that B in vertical direction are taken by a CCD camera, a visual recognition control part calculates differences DELTAx and DELTAy between reference lines As and Ba and central lines 13a and 14a, respectively, based on a processed image of the pick-up areas A and B which are obtained by the CCD camera, and then a fitting device control part moves a support part of the wiring board 11 in horizontal and vertical directions so that the differences DELTAx and DELTAy are equal to 0, thus enabling the wiring board 11 to be positioned at the reference position. |
