The alloy (I) contains 23-26.5 (wt.)% rare earth element(s) (RE), 14.0-25.0% Fe, 3.0-5.0% Cu, rest Co, RE comprising at least 50% Sm, Pr, Nd or other rare earth elements. ADVANTAGE - (I) gives magnets with excellent magnetic properties, which are resistant to corrosion and can operate at temps. up to 350 deg.C and are not damaged by exposure to very high opposite magnetic fields.
