PURPOSE:To put the camera in distance measuring operation again by photographer's operation and to prevent the distance from being mismeasured by judging that the possibility of distance mismeasurement is high and rising an alarm when it is discriminated that a subject distance when an automatic focusing lock is made is larger than a specific value. CONSTITUTION:An exposure control part AEC receives data AED and a release signal from a microcomputer 11 to perform exposure operation. A display control circuit DPC controls a display made in a finder 3 by light emitting diodes ALD and FDD to indicates an AF lock state by turning on the diode ALD and also warns that the distance measurement data is a long-distance value more than the specific value in the AF lock mode and the possibility of distance mismeasurement is high by blinking the diode FDD. Consequently, photographing in the erroneous AF locking state is prevented to reduce the probability of failure in photography. |
