PURPOSE:To obtain a normal stereo sound even when the sound is listened to at any position by combining two sets of speaker groups in which speakers having directivity are arranged decentralizingly on a circumference in a way that the direction of the directivity major axis of them is made opposite to each other. CONSTITUTION:Directivity speakers 1a-1f forming a left speaker group 1 are fitted on a circumference (a) set to a side face of a cylinder 3 while their directivity major axes L1a-L1f are aligned with a tangential line in the counter clockwise direction of the circumference (a) decentralizingly. Moreover, directivity speakers 2a-2f forming a right speaker group 2 are fitted on a circumference (b) set to a side face of the cylinder 3 while their directivity major axes L2a-L2f are aligned with a tangential line in the clockwise direction of the circumference (b) decentralizingly. A left channel audio signal is fed to the speaker group 1 whose directivity major axes are arranged counter clockwise and a right channel audio signal is fed to the speaker group whose directivity major axes are arranged clockwise. Thus, a normal stereophonic sense is obtained from any position on the circumference of the speaker equipments. |
