A building framework comprises vertical columns 10 and horizontal beams 11 for supporting room-dividing elements, roofs, etc. The columns 10 consist of at least two U-shaped profiles 15, 16 which are placed facing each other, with the outsides of the webs directed towards each other and bearing against opposite sides of first coupling pieces 17 which are arranged at predetermined intervals along the length of the profiles 15, 16 and are connected to the profiles. The coupling pieces 17 project at right angles from the columns 10 in order to be connected to first horizontal beams 11. Second coupling pieces have recesses in their webs so that they can be pushed onto the first coupling pieces 17 tight against the flanges of the profiles 15, 16, in order to be connected to these and coupled to or form second horizontal beams which are at right angles to the first beams. L-shaped profiles or U-shaped profiles with bent flanges are connected to the upper end of the columns 10 in order to form supports for outer beams. <IMAGE> |
