PURPOSE:To realize an excellent power amplifier with high power efficiency in which dispersion due to an amplifier element is reduced by providing an adjustment reactance circuit element adjusting the power efficiency. CONSTITUTION:An impedance matching circuit 2 consists of a matching capacitor 10, a power efficiency adjustment capacitor 11 and an output transmission line 12. Then an amplifier element 9 connects to an output transmission line 12 and to a load impedance (Z0)14 at an output point 13. The matching capacitor 10 and the power efficiency adjustment capacitor 11 are inserted on the way of the output transmission line 12 and the power efficiency adjustment capacitor 11 has an output power adjustment function and a power efficiency adjustment function in common. Thus, the power efficiency of a power amplifier is increased and the dispersion in the element is absorbed to suppress the dispersion of output power. |
