<p>PURPOSE:To exactly remove scattering rays and to improve resolving power by collecting the energy spectra dependent upon positions simultaneously with image collection. CONSTITUTION:A gamma camera 1 collects diagnosis images from the radio active material dosed to a living body and converts 2 the images to digital signals. The position signals (x), (y) of the diagnosis images are inputted to an image memory controller 3 and an x-y address selector 6. The energy signal (Z) of the diagnosis images is inputted to a window circuit 5 and a pulse height discriminator 7. The circuit 5 collects the images P (x, y) at a certain window width and simultaneously collects the energy spectra E (x, y, e) in the state of fully opening the window width upon receipt of the command of a main CPU 9. The scattering lines of every camera position are exactly removed when the ratio of the scattering rays is determined in accordance with the preset energy window width from the energy spectra of each of the positions of the camera 1 and the images P are multiplied by this ratio.</p> |
