PURPOSE:To automatically place a green tire in the prescribed place by constituting the title handling device of both a supporting arm fixed to a contrarotation shaft which is supported rotatably and axially on a reciprocative movable carriage while holding an axial line parallel to the travel direction thereof and a green tire gripping member which projects to one side in the tip thereof and is freely extendably provided. CONSTITUTION:For example, in the case of moving green tire T positioned on a placing base or a conveyor 2 to a secondary molding machine and transferring it to a secondary molding drum, firstly a supporting arm 12 is contrarotated before a movable carriage 7 is moved to the conveyor 2 side. A green tire gripping member 13 is positioned on the elongation of the center line of the conveyor 2 and also opened. Thereafter when the movable carriage 7 is moved and the green tire T is positioned to the inside of both green tire gripping members 13, the movable carriage 7 is stopped. Then the gripping members 13 are shrunk to the opposite inner parts to grip the raw tire T from both side parts. The supporting arm 12 is upward contrarotated to raise the green tire T from the conveyor 2 and thereafter the movable carriage 7 is moved to a secondary molding machine side. At this time, the central axial line of the green tire T is allowed to coincide with the central axial line of a secondary molding drum. The green tire T is externally engaged with the secondary molding drum and can be transferred. |
