The present invention relates to a device for measuring the level of fuel in a tank, comprising: a plate, an arm fixed to the plate, a casing (100) carried by the arm, a lever articulated on the casing (100), a float linked with the lever, and an assembly with a resistive element and slide, associated with the lever and the casing (100), characterised in that the casing (100) comprises a barrel (110), the device comprises a piece (200) for supporting the lever, formed by a pivoting blade (vane) provided with a hub (210), and means for attachment of the lever, either the support piece (200) or the casing (100), at least, is provided with a tab (230) fitted at its end with transverse teeth (2380) capable of acting as an axial stop for the casing (100) and the support piece (200) respectively, and a spindle (300) is engaged in the barrel (110) and the hub (210) of the support piece for guiding the latter in pivoting. <IMAGE>
