PURPOSE:To prepare a cosmetic suitable for eliminating the troubles in the skin and scalp, by absorbing ozone-containing air into refined water having specific electrical conductivity and pH value, and adding a cosmetic base to the resultant oxygen-containing water having specific pH value and dissolved oxygen content and high pH stability. CONSTITUTION:Water is treated with ion exchange resin, activated carbon, etc. to obtain refined water having specific electrical conductivity of 15-38munu/cm and pH of 7.2-7.4. Ozone-containing air is absorbed in the refined water to obtain an oxygen-containing water having dissolved oxygen content of 8-11ppm, which is compounded with a cosmetic base to obtain the objective cosmetic. The oxygen-containing water is free from variations in the dissolved oxygen content and pH with time, restores the pH value when the pH is shifted by external factor, softens the cuticle of the skin, activates the metabolism of the skin, promotes the blood flow in the skin, and is effective as a hair-restorer. Ozone is generated by passing air through the gap between a pair of mesh electrodes imposed with high electrical potential. |
