PURPOSE:To relatively readily obtain the subject new fiber excellent in electric conductivity and whiteness by forming an electrically conductive layer composed of specific electrically conductive particles and a binding polymer into fiber through post-processing. CONSTITUTION:The objective fiber obtained by forming a metal layer such as silver having preferably 0.01-0.1mum thickness on a core (preferably having 0.1-1mum particle diameter) composed of an inorganic compound such as titanium oxide, further forming a film with preferably 0.002-0.01mum thickness from a metal compound (e.g. an electrically conductive metal oxide such as tin) preferably containing a dopant thereon, mixing 50-80wt.% resultant electrically conductive particles with a binder (e.g. a thermosetting resin such as a polyamide), as necessary, a stabilizer, etc., and forming an electrically conductive layer on the surface of material fiber (e.g. a synthetic resin such as the polyamide) through post-processing. |
