PURPOSE:To provide a hot pressed magnet having a uniform distribution and a high energy product and causing no crack by constructing a title magnet with an R-T-B alloy of a two or more crystal grain aspect ratio and thereby substantially uniformly distributing the maximum product of energy in the center and the end thereof. CONSTITUTION:A title magnet is constructed with an R-T-B alloy of a two or more crystal grain aspect ratio taking as a chief ingredient transition metal (T), rare earth element (R) containing Y, and boron (B), in which magnet a product of the maximum energies in the center at the end is uniformly distributed. Herein, the aspect ratio is defined as the ratio c/a of an average diameter c perpendicular to the axis C of the crystal grain and an average diameter a in the direction of the axis C. Hereby, a resulting magnet is fit for a magnetic circuit, for which a market need has increased recently, where a product of the maximum energies in the center and the end part thereof is substantially uniformly distributed. |
